After working as an IT professional for many years, and seeing at first hand the stresses of working life, I made a move into corporate health assessment. The most thought provoking thing that I learned was that taking blood pressure, doing cholesterol tests and educating stressed businessmen and women in ways that they could live longer meant nothing if they felt that their emotional and psychological well being was out of their control.

Of course it's not just work that causes stress, this also applies to the overworked parent trying to juggle the demands of a family with the need to earn a living and the out-of-work depressive who feels that the pressures of life sometimes seem overwhelming.

In the late nineties I made the decision to study Pure Hypnoanalysis with the Hypnotherapy Control Board who have trained more than 7000 Hypnotherapists and Hypnoanalysts worldwide and I now practice from my purpose built consulting rooms here on the South Coast between the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth. As well as gaining my Diploma in Hypnoanalysis, I have successfully completed many advanced residential training courses, and have demonstrated to the IAH Council of Management that I have the necessary skills, experience and insight to be practicing Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis at an advanced level. I am a committed and passionate member of the IAPH - I believe that there is no better, faster or gentler way to resolve anxiety than with Pure Hypnoanalysis. I am a Training Analyst and Supervisor and have served for the past two years on the Council of Management of the IAPH.
